Miguel was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in 1960 and graduated from ITESO University with a degree in architecture in 1982. That summer, he went to the United States where he worked at New Mexico’s Department of Planning and Assistance Center which is attached to the University of New Mexico. For his University thesis, he designed a Cultural and Civic Center for Puerto Vallarta. After graduating and until 1992, he worked for two important construction companies in Guadalajara. Here, he gained extensive experience designing and building private homes, as well as building and renovating corporate offices. In 1993 he moved to Puerto Vallarta and has been working here until 2009. Now he combines Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta, where he has a few projects under construction.
